Open to any color but do love neutrals like black, white, copper, camel etc. pastels are a preference outside of neutral design. I would like a dainty and minimalist design that isn’t so plain but isn’t overdone. It needs to have an elevated look to the design.

We want a dynamic, versatile logo that can work both as a full design and as separate pieces:

The Wordmark

The words BrainFreeze Studios should have a strong, icy aesthetic.

The word BrainFreeze should stand out, with frozen, sharp, or cracked-ice effects.

Studios can be secondary and simpler.

The Icon / Mascot (bald guy)

A man screaming as if he’s experiencing a brain freeze.

His expression should capture both pain and intensity (like a sudden ice shock).

The style should look like a comic-book “Iceman” character (frozen skin, icy textures, maybe subtle frost or shards of ice around him).

This icon should be able to stand alone (like a gaming emblem) but also pair with the wordmark.

Flexibility

The logo should work in color and monochrome.

Needs to scale well (usable on websites, merchandise, app icons, banners).

Ideally, the designer provides both combined (text + screaming man) and separated versions (just the text / just the icon).

I uploaded our current logo AAPEXS is a supplement company that is relaunching with a GYM like UFC style gyms. The logo that is added is what we currently use for our supplement company. We need the gym to be recognized as an AAPEXS GYM. 

We want a modern, powerful logo that features our lion head and bold name. Our core colors are black, red, silver, and white. The logo must feel elite but accessible.

We’re open to refinements on our current lion-based design or fresh takes that keep the energy of a lion/alpha/predator brand.

It must work on shirts, signage, websites, and gym walls. We want a version with and without the slogan:

AAPEXS GYM · MARTIAL ARTS · FITNESS

AAPEXS will eventually have three main studio types under the brand:

AAPEXS Muay Thai & Taekwondo – Focused on striking arts and traditional discipline.

AAPEXS High Performance & Fitness Gym – Strength, recovery, and modern fitness performance.

AAPEXS Martial Arts & Fitness – A hybrid studio for all ages and fitness levels, combining martial arts, kickboxing, and conditioning.

Ideally, the logo should be strong enough to allow for each of these names to be adapted underneath as a sub-brand, like:

AAPEXS Muay Thai & Taekwondo (Smaller Gym but focus on these two sports).

AAPEXS High Performance & Fitness Gym (Gym Only)

AAPEXS Martial Arts & Fitness (Full service Gym, Full Service Martial Arts (focus on Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Kali) we also will offer other styles No Gi/Gi Jujitsu, and boxing.

The logo must reflect legacy, pride, strength, and excellence — and still feel modern and franchise-ready.

1. Title and Subtitle:

Prominent Placement: Make sure the title and subtitle are the most prominent text on the cover. They should be large, clear, and easy to read from a distance.
Font Choice: Select a font that reflects the tone and style of the memoir. Consider a font with a slightly exotic feel to hint at the cultural fusion aspect of my story.
Visual Hierarchy: The title should be larger and bolder than the subtitle, creating a clear visual hierarchy.

2. Author Name:

Clear and Legible: My name (Oumar Diouf) should be clearly visible, but it can be in a smaller font size than the title.
Positioning: Place the name below the title and subtitle, typically towards the bottom of the cover.

3. Imagery:

Evocative and Relevant: Choose an image or images that capture the essence of the memoir.
Consider images of food, spices, or landscapes from Senegal, Argentina, or Brazil.
i don't want a portrait of myself, but something artistic that convey my personality and connection to the story.
High Quality: Use high-resolution images that will look sharp and professional when printed.
Color Palette: Select colors that are vibrant and eye-catching, reflecting the diverse cultures and flavors in your memoir.

4. Design Elements:

Layout: Consider the overall layout and composition of the cover. A balanced and visually appealing design will draw the reader's eye.
Graphics or Illustrations: You could incorporate subtle graphic elements or illustrations that relate to my story, such as a pattern inspired by Senegalese textiles or a simple line drawing of a cooking pot.
Special Effects: Consider using special effects like embossing, spot UV coating, or metallic foil to add a touch of luxury and texture to the cover.

5. Genre Considerations:

Memoir Conventions: While I want the cover to be unique, it's also important to consider the conventions of the memoir genre. Look at covers of other successful memoirs to get a sense of common design elements and trends.
