Ideally, I imagine our logo having a silhouette (or nice colors) of some sort of a fisherman on a sail boat reach over to pull up a person who is sinking in the water. Emphasis being placed on the hand to hand rescue. The person in the boat could have the sun behind them sort of illuminating their image.
Message behind the image is, NEW (unexplored, something fresh and continuously improved) fellow (mankind, those who have been out in search for human connection) ship (the vehicle of passage, safety against the wind and waves, the common denominator of the fellows), bring our fellow man into ship of safety. Church ( the gathering place that is centered on the Unfailing Love of God)
