We would like a very recognisable symbol probably to the left with the words to the right. MaternityMK:MSLC MSLC means Maternity Services Liaison Committee which is a group of NHS medical representatives, private birth professionals and parents who work together to improve Maternity Services in and around Milton Keynes city. 
 
We want the logo to come across as professional/medical but also as being very approachable and nurturing. 
 
Wording to be either all in one line or split as follows:

 MSLC 
 
Colours will probably be blue and green as I think psychologically blue is a colour used for trust and professionalism and green is a colour for growth. But we are open for other suggestions if the designers think other colours would be better.
