BRIEF
DESIGNS (365)
- Logo Name:
- Hookset
- Company Intro:
- Hookset is a B2B SaaS booking and management platform built for charter fishing captains. We give operators the software infrastructure to run their business, and we power a consumer facing marketplace that connects everyday anglers with those same operators. Our brand has to work on both sides of that equation.
- Instructions:
- In fishing, the hookset is everything. It is the decisive, explosive moment when the angler drives the hook home and the catch is secured. Nothing before it matters. Nothing after it is in doubt. For us, the hookset is when a booking confirms, a payment clears, and a trip becomes real. The name is active, confident, and completely native to the culture of the people we serve. Brand Personality Modern SaaS first: We want to stand shoulder to shoulder with Stripe, Shopify, and FareHarbor. The design should feel like it belongs in that company. Fishing native, not fishing cliche: Our users live on the water. The brand should reflect that world with authenticity and restraint, not with cartoon fish or anchor clip art. Precise and trustworthy: Captains hand us their schedules and their revenue. The logo needs to project the kind of quiet confidence that earns that trust immediately. Standalone icon: The logomark must function completely independently from the wordmark. It will live as an app icon, favicon, and mobile UI element. If the icon cannot carry the brand alone, it is not the right icon. Wordmark: Clean, highly legible, and modern. The typography for "Hookset" should feel engineered, not decorated. Flat vector only: Must hold up in a single color on white, in full color on dark backgrounds, and at every size from 16px favicon to billboard. No gradients, no 3D, no detail that collapses at small sizes. What we are looking for is a premium, ownable, scalable identity that a charter captain respects and an angler instinctively trusts the moment they see it. Bring your boldest thinking.
