BRIEF
DESIGNS (349)
- Logo Name:
- Illusiom (for clarity: illusiom)
- Company Intro:
- Illusiom is an engagement and transition framework for early career development. The work is research-informed and primarily engages with universities and higher education professionals, while also supporting recent graduates directly. The primary audience is institutional decision-makers and practitioners in higher education. A secondary audience is graduates navigating early career transitions. The brand must feel credible, serious, and trustworthy in institutional contexts, without being overly academic or impersonal. This is not a coaching, motivational, start-up, or lifestyle brand. The focus is on explaining and addressing uneven engagement in early career development, not personal transformation or sales-led services.
- Instructions:
- Please see the attached logo design brief. Key points to note: The logo should be wordmark-led, with an optional secondary mark if appropriate. It must work clearly at small scale (e.g. LinkedIn profile image, slide footer). The tone should be grounded, reflective, and intellectually confident. Avoid any visuals or styles associated with: career coaching motivational programmes start-ups or accelerators youth-coded or playful branding Avoid literal symbols such as arrows, ladders, pathways, targets, lightbulbs, keys, or people icons. Colour direction should favour calm, intelligent tones (e.g. deep blues, muted teals, restrained greens or purples). The logo must also work fully in black and white. Typography note: Please ensure the capital “I” in Illusiom is clearly distinguishable. In some typefaces the name can read as “lllusiom” at a glance, particularly at small scale. The solution should be typographic and restrained, prioritising clarity and legibility rather than decorative or gimmicky treatments. If the logo feels like a coaching brand or a start-up, it should be considered unsuccessful.
