k3solo.io – A streamlined, single-node Kubernetes solution, derived from the popular k3s project, tailored specifically for lightweight IoT and edge devices. k3solo is built directly from the highly regarded open-source k3s project. By deliberately constraining k3solo to single-node operation only, we've significantly optimized its footprint—reducing memory usage down to approximately 150MB, eliminating disk I/O typically associated with maintaining cluster quorum, and minimizing CPU overhead. It’s a fully functional Kubernetes distribution optimized for single-node deployments. We require a simple yet fun icon/logo to represent the k3solo brand, visually suggesting simplicity, lightweight efficiency, Kubernetes roots, and the "single-node" concept. Initially we liked the synergies with “Han Solo” but recognize that is likely trademarked so dangerous to obtain inspirations from. Can also potentially leverage links to the original k3s.io project, but be careful with trademarks. attached is an AI mock we liked... but dont be constrained to this... and its k3solo now, not KubeSolo..
