Although our business name is 1814 Commemoration, Inc., when people attempt to contact us, they look for "The Battle of Plattsburgh" because that is what we represent. It doesn't have to be in a circle, with a banner, or even including the flags (although flags were part of the old logo); most of the group wants it to be more straightforward. I have attached two sketches that express what the board wants to see. They would like to see a picture of the Macdonough monument (if possible) with the words "Battle of Plattsburgh" across the front of it or along the side and "1814 Commemoration, Inc." in smaller font included somewhere. Very simple. Fonts and color are up to you. The sketches I put together need to be scaled differently to fit the design, and the fonts need to be more professionally done, but they give an idea of the concept.
