Company info: The founders of Verdantia Research are both scientists and our business researches and plants individual native trees within fields on New Zealand sheep and beef farms. The trees will grow into mature trees and formed mixed integrative tree-pasture systems (see attached photos). These systems will provide many benefits to the farm such as soil erosion, water retention and biodiversity. Our target audience are farmers in New Zealand with sheep and cattle. Logo info: Style: Simple, professional, classic look Specific design briefs: We want it to have a tree in the logo. Our values: wisdom, truth, integrity, and curiosity Other logo points: - Do not make it look new agey or that it is for an organic farm. The logo needs to appeal to farmers who are often sceptical of organic agriculture. - A key part of our value-add will be the science we do and how that informs the systems we plant, so some how communicating that in our branding would be good. - I’ve also attached some other logos of agricultural companies in New Zealand to give an idea of what is out there already.
