Arizona Women in Higher Education (AWHE) values quality leadership that is inclusive, diverse, collaborative, and teamwork- and mentoring-oriented with likeminded organizations. Our planning efforts and actions are based on these values and guiding principles because quality higher education governance is best practiced in a fair and equitable environment. In concert with the American Council on Education’s Women’s Network, the AWHE Network is committed to improving the general climate and professional environment for women in Arizona’s higher education systems. For more information about ACE and the Women’s Network, click on the logos below. Our Mission Statement Arizona Women in Higher Education supports the journey, leadership development, and advancement of women in Arizona high education institutions. Our Goals Here at AWHE, we are dedicating to improving professional opportunities for women throughout Arizona in the higher education sector. Our goals include: -Creating a network for women in higher education to enhance leadership potential, build skills, share information, provide opportunities, encourage the establishment of mentoring relationships with women, and support women leaders in higher education. -Developing strategies to improve institutional climates for women in higher education. The logo is for our 2022 Conference, entitled Bridging Divides: Building Constructive Collaborations. Target audience is women in higher education, including administrators, staff, and faculty.

    Must include Navy blue. Imaging something with a bridge and women, but should be inclusive...attaching a screenshot of some ideas that we found online, as well as our AWHE logo and some previous conference logos.
