We were thinking of the outline of our building being incorporated somehow, above the name of the Church: Mill Creek Church. In the building remodel, we've targeted a "Refreshed-Vintage" feel, meaning the 'feel' is an updated, but still 'aged' look. 

The logo could incorporate any of the following:
(1) The outline of the Church building (not necessary, but a direction we were thinking). / (2) A creek (directly behind the Church is Mill Creek) (3) The words: "Mill Creek Church". / (4) Something that would indicate "Life" - something icon-like, not the word itself.
